Government subsidies for Tagle products and services available for Canadian companies

If you're a Canadian company you may be elligible to receive government subsidies for Tagle products and services. From the NRC's website:

As part of the Government of Canada’s Digital Economy Strategy, NRC-IRAP has been selected to deliver the Digital Technology Adoption Pilot Program (DTAPP) from October 2011 to March 31, 2014. DTAPP represents a significant investment into the Canadian economy in an effort to increase the productivity growth of small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Canada across all sectors through the adoption of digital technologies.

DTAPP is designed to speed up the rate at which SMEs in Canada adopt digital technology and build digital skills. Through new and existing networks and relationships with colleges and organizations across Canada, the DTAPP team provides SMEs access to expertise in the digital technology adoption field. The DTAPP team also works with other government organizations to leverage the synergies of all available Digital Economy Strategy resources. An important component of this Pilot Program is to assess and measure the outcomes of digital technology adoption on the productivity of SMEs. DTAPP will utilize this aggregate knowledge and transfer successful practices and lessons learned to the broader SME community in order to:

  • improve the rate of digital technology adoption by SMEs
  • improve understanding of the link between digital technologies and productivity
  • raise awareness of the benefits and importance of adopting these technologies

This information will be a critical tool to encourage prospective adopters of digital technologies and will continue to impact the potential productivity growth of the Canadian economy well into the future.

If your firm is incorporated, has 500 employees or less and is currently seeking opportunities to adopt digital technology with a goal of increasing your firm’s productivity, you could be eligible to receive assistance from NRC-IRAP through our DTAPP team. If you are a college or not-for-profit organization interested in delivering services to SMEs to help them in adopting digital technologies DTAPP could assist you. For more information, please refer to the Eligibility section.

To engage with DTAPP, please call toll-free at 1-855-453-3940.

Tagle Roughneck Module goes commercial!

We're delighted to announce that the new Tagle Roughneck module is now commercial!

Zedi Roughneck is an oil and gas operations management application from Zedi Inc. (TSX:ZED).  Roughneck allows oil and gas companies to streamline the task of controlling assets and managing risks in their ongoing operations.  This improves operational efficiency in the areas like asset management, preventative maintenance, HSE (health, safety, and environment) procedures, and more.

As a web-based application, Roughneck provides all these capabilities on a pay-for-usage basis, and without the need for sophisticated IT infrastructure.

However, like most web-based applications, Roughneck's document management interface is constrained by the limitations imposed by browser technology.  And operations management in oil and gas tends to be very document intensive ...

That's where Tagle comes in!  With Tagle's lightning-fast search capabilities and intuitive and well-integrated drag and drop capabilities, Roughneck users now have the best of both worlds: the ease of management of a web-based SaaS application, and the speed, ease of use, and desktop integration of Tagle.

For more information, visit the Tagle Roughneck page:  www.tagle.it/roughneck
